How to Contact Capital One Customer Service?

    Capital One offers account holders the chance to contact customer service by phone or by mail for general correspondence. The number to contact when in Canada or the United States is 1 (800) 481-3239 and associates are available 24/7. The general correspondence number is also where any questions about Capital One Rewards may be directed. For Capital One customers outside Canada and the US, then contact (804) 934-2010 and call collect. Associates are available on this line 24/7 as well.

    Capital One also offers account holders the chance to contact customer service associates on Facebook and Twitter. You will need to have your account permissions setup to post on their page/account .Associates are available 9am-5pm ET Monday thru Friday.

    To check on the status of a Capital One credit card application, call 1 (877) 277-5901 and use Option #3.

    If you prefer to contact Capital One through secure e-mail, then you will need to have an online banking account. You will need your Capital One account number, a valid email address, your postal code, and the 3 digit CVV security code on the back of your most recently issued card to sign up for an account if you do not have one.
